Brookline's housing is older, larger, and often finished to a standard that makes careless work very visible. We fish circuits through finished walls with minimal patching and hang fixtures on properly rated boxes, because the repair to plaster and trim can cost more than the electrical.

Lighting work here is usually design work: recessed layouts that don't pool, dimmers matched to LED drivers, and switching planned around how a room is actually used at night.
